The mod features characters from several different Indie games as opponents in their own separate weeks. The Cuphead Show (exclamation point theirs) is an animated adaptation of the 2017 video game Cuphead, which starred Cuphead and Mugman as they battled their way through increasingly. Still, when Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course does finally come out, it sounds like it will provide fans a healthy amount of content to play. Kettler is executive-producing for King Features, which represents Cuphead for licensing.Īdam Paloian (supervising director, Spongebob Squarepants) and Clay Morrow (director, Mickey Mouse shorts) are directing, while Andrea Fernandez (art director, Unikitty!) is the art director. Not to be confused with High Effort Crossed Out. Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer are executive-producing for Studio MDHR (which produced the game). The Cuphead Show Season 2 premieres on August 19, 2022, on Netflix. Cosmo Segurson, director of Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling and Pig Goat Banana Cricket, serves as co-executive producer. The Cuphead Show! was developed by Dave Wasson, director on the Mickey Mouse shorts and creator of Cartoon Network’s Time Squad, who is also an executive producer. Cuphead is absolutely not for the faint of heart, then, but it’s certainly captivating.
